Hello!
Hello dear Brothers and Sisters! My name is Levi Kapusuz. I am a Turkish Christian who was born and raised in Türkiye. I am an M.Div. student, beginning my studies at Westminster Seminary in California this summer. I graduated from Covenant College in May 2025 with a Biblical and theological Studies degree.
As a Turkish Christian, I have faced both challenges and life-threatening situations because of my faith. My passion for the gospel and relationship with our Lord Jesus has deepened. Trusting in God’s call, I will return to Turkey and help build a Christ-centered ministry that is theologically grounded and shaped by a deep love for people.

The Testimony of Levi Kapusuz
I grew up in a Christian family in Turkey, where such a thing is rare. My father, the first Christian in his family, became a believer after reading a Bible he found in college. He and my mother later devoted their lives to ministry. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad reading me the Bible. Even as a child, I was full of questions and deeply curious about God.
But being a Christian in a Muslim-majority country came with challenges. We were often insulted, threatened, and even attacked for our faith. At age nine, my father survived an assassination attempt planned by a terrorist group. That experience made me aware of the cost of following Christ, yet it fueled a growing passion in me to share the gospel.

Persecution followed me into school. Some teachers didn’t want me there. Friends abandoned me. Still, I drew closer to Christ. I started playing guitar in my church’s worship team and found great joy in serving. In 2016, when terrorists threatened our church, we continued to worship despite real danger. I was only fourteen, but I knew then that I wanted to spend my life serving God.
High school brought new opportunities. Despite being warned never to share my faith again after writing about Jesus in an assignment, I didn’t stop. When my teacher surprisingly asked me to run for student body president, I hesitated—I didn’t think a Christian could win. But I ran, shared my faith openly, and was elected by 83% of the school. That experience gave me hope for Turkey.
God has carried me through threats, loneliness, and countless challenges—not because I am strong, but because He is faithful. I believe He is calling me to serve the church in Turkey. Though the road ahead will be hard, I know Christ goes before me, and I am ready to follow.

I cannot do this lifelong mission alone. Right now, I need support during my seminary studies and beyond that, as I return home to begin full-time ministry.
I’ve been blessed with a full scholarship from the seminary, but as an international student, I’m not allowed to work and still need support for my living expenses.
When you support me, you’re not only helping one person, but you’re helping build the future church in Turkey.
Will you walk with me through prayer and giving? Your support truly makes a difference. Let’s witness God’s wondrous works together, not through me but through HIM.
